Throughout the existence of the Soviet Union, unimaginable acts of persecution were committed by a regime that sought total control and preached a message of fear and intimidation through a system of prison camps called the Gulag.

Among those specifically targeted by the Soviets were a small group of Christians named Jehovah's Witnesses. Over the course of the last century, Soviet Union persecution of Jehovah's Witnesses included exile, arrest, imprisonment, and even death. But their spirit would not be broken, nor would their faith.
